A series of thematic invitations was created for design workshops exploring different creative disciplines, including illustration, object and portrait drawing, landscape design, and typography.

Concept

The invitations were designed not only as a means of communication, but as an interactive object that extends the experience of the workshop itself. Each invitation reveals the theme of the workshop through its exterior design, while the interior contains the event details along with a dedicated space marked “paint here”.

This simple intervention transforms the invitation from a passive printed piece into an active creative tool.

Interaction & Materiality

By introducing an empty canvas within the invitation, participants are encouraged to use, modify, and personalise the object through drawing and experimentation. The printed piece becomes a space for creativity, connecting the message of the workshop with the act of making.

Outcome

The result is a collection of invitations that function beyond traditional event communication. Each piece becomes a small creative experience, reflecting the philosophy of design education: observation, experimentation, and personal expression.
